Military Intelligence Service (SWW) is a special service, which fields of interests concern international threats for State defence security, safety and operational ability of  the Armed Forces and other administrative units, liable to or supervised by National Defense Minister.

SWW was established on October 1st of 2006 and acts on the basis of the Military Counterintelligence Service and Military Intelligence Service Act  9th of June 2006.

Military Intelligence Service is a member of international intelligence community. It participates actively in information and experiences exchange between leading intelligence services of NATO and EU countries, contributing at the same time to increasing international security.
